Re: Cannot authorize desktop app, desktop/oauth2 always return 500
Having exactly the same problem here - cannot auth desktop app. Page dropbox.com/oauth2/authorize loads slowly, then I click "Allow" and get ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

I have found a solution. After the browser window is opened edit url and add www. in front. www.dropbox.com/oauth2/authorize is working, dropbox.com/oauth2/authorize is not. Something's wrong with SSL I guess.

aifxw It's not clear if the issue you're seeing is necessarily exactly the same as the issue reported in the thread you originally posted in, so I've moved your messages to its own thread in case we need to look into this further for you.
The original issue should be resolved now, so can you confirm if you're still seeing any issues now?

I managed to auth adding www in front of url. I don't want to try to replicate the issue again bc I would have to deauth and auth again, spent a couple of hours trying to auth.
