Hi hahmed44, thanks for checking in with us.

I'd be happy to help, I'll just need a bit more info to make sure I have a better understanding of what you're seeing. For example:

    • Do you get a specific error message? If so, could you send me a screenshot (without any personal info)?
    • Does this happen with any other file type?
    • Have you tried previewing the links from another browser? What about an incognito window?

Let me know of any updates - thanks!

Hi, Lusil. Thank you for your response and help. I use flash-mp3-player.net as my mini MP3 player for my tumblr blog. Changing the end of my MP3 Dropbox links from dl=0 to raw=1 used to make my Dropbox MP3 links work and play the song. Now it does not. I used Firefox and Opera and Explorer to see if that was the cause of my problem but it wasn’t. It made no difference. So now some of my blog has working MP3 players and most do not. It’s frustrating because this has happened to me before in the past and I had to redo every single song I have on my tumblr page. If you go to flash-mp3-player.net and change the ending of your MP3 Dropbox link to raw=1, the song will still not play. I tried it on every different player they offered to see if that also made a difference but it didn’t.
Thank you kindly for helping me, Lusil.
    Cheers,
    Hana

Do the links work (with the ?raw=1) if you paste them into the address bar of your browser? Use an Incognito/Private window so you're not logged into your Dropbox account.

If the links work and you're able to either play the file in your browser or the browser tries to download it, then there's nothing wrong with the link. You'll need to contact the support team for the player and ask if URLs with parameters at the end are supported in the player.

Thanks for nudging me back, hahmed44

Out of curiosity, when you mention that the links don't play, do any error messages come up or are the links constantly loading?

A screenshot (without any personal info) of what you see would also be very helpful.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!
