UID in oauth2/token response
Hello, I see that you have officially removed your v1 API. Regarding the UID, it seems to still be present in the oauth2/token response https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#oa2-token
Although it is deprecated but do you have any plans to remove uid from this endpoint anytime soon? I want to know how long we can rely on that to assist with future uid->account_id mapping.
Thanks,
Justin
- Hi Justin, we don't have any plans to remove that, so it's safe to use.
Removing it would be a breaking change, so we'd be sure to notify developers and give them time to update their apps in the case that we do need to.

OK Thanks. Aside from a notification, what is the best page to follow to track breaking changes like this? Thanks

The best thing to do is to make sure the email address on the account that owns your API app(s) is up to date, since the main channel of notification we use for this is email.
