Overwrite a File

Yes, the API unfortunately doesn't offer a way to append directly (I'll send this along as a feature request though), so you'd need to download and upload the edited content.
First, to download the existing file, you would use /2/files/download.
After you make your modifications locally, you would then upload the new version using /2/files/upload.
Those are links to the documentation for the HTTPS endpoints themselves, but we recommend using one of the official SDKs if possible. Those have corresponding native methods for the HTTPS endpoints.
