Dropbox/Mac: "Filename" Can't Be Found
I can't seem to see anyone else with this issue, but I've had it for a short while now & it's really annoying:

This is happening to me as well and is driving me crazy!
Dropbox, if it assists, here are answers to your questions as to how this is presenting as a problem to me:
- It is happening to all files.
- It is happening with files that I have "ma[d]e available offline", that have a green tick next to them. For online files, when you click the file, the file downloads and then opens.
- The app is up-to-date and is not syncing when this is happening.

Hi CBear, just for clarification, do you mean a white icon with a green tick, or a green icon with a white tick? Only the latter means a file is available offline.
- CBear2 years agoExplorer | Level 3It’s a green circle with a white tick in it (using a Mac).

Thanks for the info. I'd recommend getting in contact with the support team for them to look into this matter in more detail on their end.
- CBear2 years agoExplorer | Level 3And… how do I do that?

This is the only style of tick I have. What does this mean?
This file was added to dropbox from a local place, I currently can open it if I double click, surely this means it's available offline?
I believe you're getting confused with Windows & Mac icons as they're different (in my circumstance at least)
edit: just saw someone already mentioned the above, nevermind!

Is your Dropbox folder located in the CloudStorage location?

No it's in my user folder. I did migrate a month or so back into the beta to the new cloud storage location, but rolled back when I ran into too many bugs.
