Sounds like you used a shared link. The feature you're actually looking for is a File Request. Create one, get the link, and then generate your own QR code for it (plenty of third-party sites can do this for you).

Super User IIYou will need to use a Dropbox requests link at www.dropbox.com/requests HOWEVER people wont be able to see what is already there - its one or the other I'm afraid.
The shared link you gave out only allows viewing and for people to upload to it you'd need to know their name and email address for them to set up an account
