Why do my videos look grainy when I upload them from Go Pro to Dropbox?

When uploading videos from GoPro’s Quik app to Dropbox, sometimes the app automatically compresses the video to save bandwidth and space. This could explain why the videos look grainy on Dropbox but fine in the GoPro app. Try uploading the video manually (without using the Quik app) to see if the quality improves.
