Dropbox audio transcription feature
Hi, I have three questions to ask you: 1. I upload an audio file, I have Dropbox AI transcribe it into words, I see on the side that the text is divided in short paragraphs (I think breaking bet...

.Word document (by Microsoft aka Microsoft Word). I will try pasting the transcription somewhere else and maybe it will maintaining the short paragraphs breaking (which I assume they signal pauses and/or different people speaking).
I also still wonder if there is a better program (whether it is free or not) that transforms audio files into words --by better I mean more accurate than DropBox AI which I find quite good).
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I have also asked the IT guy from where I work. When he answers, assuming he does, I will paste here his answer (to this second question).
Thank you

Hi Pedro,
Something else should be improved: As of now only files up to 105 minutes get transcribed.
I wonder if:
a. this can be improved (extended).
b. if it can't be improved in the very near future, if I can break a file into two.
Also, please note that the issue of the transcript being kept as it appears in paragraphs when you paste into .Word has not been fixed.
Thank you, Ugo

Hey UgoCT,
The team has come up with these steps for you:
- If you’re on a Mac, just select the text you want to copy and then hit cmd+shift+v.
- For Windows users, select the text and try ctrl+shift+v instead.
Following these steps should help you keep the text formatted just the way you like it.
Could you give it a try and let us know if it works?
Hope this helps.
