Is it possible to permanently delete multiple files/folders?

Is there presently a way to permanently delete a whole lot of files & folders at once? I have seen instructions that refer to clicking a trash can in order to do so; but I don't see a trash can. I can see a way to delete files one at a time, but I have hundreds to permanently delete. Thank you.

  • If I move (cut & paste) files to another folder outside Dropbox, rather than "delete" them, would that be any different, in regard to someone being able to restore them?

  • No, it wouldn't be any different. No one but you can restore files in your account. If that's your concern, I think you're worrying over nothing.

Thanks Rich. However, after deleting, when I go to the Deleted Files page, if I click on one file or folder in order to begin selecting all of them, I immediately get a pop-up window asking me if I want to delete it or restore that one file or folder. I can't seem to select a bunch of files & folders at once to make permanently deleted. Is there a way to do that?

No, not from the Deleted Files page.
