Missing Folder

I have a Dropbox Professional account. Last week I was reorganizing my folders and files, spending a lot of thoughtful time doing so. Two days ago, I realized that one folder is now completely missing, and with it, all its files. This was not a shared folder. I looked on the deleted list and the folder does not show up on the deleted list, nor do any of its files. I searched for several documents by their specific names, and nothing turned up. It is as though the folder and its contents never existed. The only thing I eventually found that showed that my folder ever existed was in my desktop recycle bin... the folder was there. I restored it, but only a few files were in it. The path showed it was (or at least had been) in dropbox. I know it's a holiday for many of us, and I will ask for online help on Monday, but I thought I'd reach out to this community because I'm trying to not freak out.

    Since it wasn't listed in your Deleted Files, it sounds like it wasn't synced to your account. Is there any reference to the folder or its files on your Events page? If not, then the folder wasn't syncing to your account, so Dropbox wouldn't be able to recover it.

      No, it was syncing (I'd had problems with that before, so I knew it wasn't that). BUT oh my goodness, Rich, you're a genius. I didn't know the Events page existed. I just opened Events and it was there -- folder and all files. I'm restoring everything now. A sense of calm is slowly replacing my panic.

        Where in the menus I can find this EVENTS folder, if it weren't for this forum it would have never occured to me to type /events
