Once I successfully upload my photos to Dropbox from my Camera Roll on my iPhone and iPad, can I delete those photos - or some of them - from my devices (to free-up space) and if I do, what happens t...

    Yes. Once you've uploaded your photos and videos to Dropbox, you can delete them from your Camera Roll. Nothing will happen to the files stored in Dropbox as long as the upload has finished.

     

    You can also enable the Camera Uploads feature and it will automatically upload your photos and videos for you. Just open the Dropbox app periodically so it can start the upload process. It will continue to upload int he background for a short time, so if you have a lot of files to upload, just leave the app open for a bit and let it work.

     

    Camera Uploads is a one-way sync. It will upload files to your Dropbox account but it will not delete them from your Camera Roll. Likewise, anything you delete from your device will not be deleted from Dropbox.
