SOLVED! The challenge is the default values when you select watermark basically didn't work so it was impossible to see the watermark. I selected bottom right, but had to change the size to 102.5 and the opacity to "full." Once I did that, I could actually see the watermark. Thanks to Pete in tech support, who while he didn't solve it, gave me enough ideas for me to play with so that I figured it out on my own. Suggestion to Dropbox that you change the default values so that no one else has to go through the same trial, error and frustration that I did!
I upgraded to Dropbox Professional and worked with tech support but while the watermark options came active, they would not "take" on my pictures. There is a help ticket now open. Please let me know what you find. FYI, there was a browser issue with Safari so I am now sticking to Firefox. Thank you

Strongly recommend you have the default values changed for watermarking. Would save a lot of confusion. BTW, the instructions for adding the watermark to ALL files in a folder do NOT work. I went one by one but that process should be reviewed as well.
