Dropbox online size differs from desktop
I have moved my entire photo / video storage into the cloud.....my folder on my mac is 144.05GB. Online the Dropbox site tells me I have used 134.1 GB........this obviously makes me rather nervous as...

There will be a slight discrepancy as Mac's count 1gb as 1000 mb's whereas Dropbox counts it (correctly) as 1024 mb's.

On my Mac it says 143,983,511,223 Bytes (144.05GB)
Online my sapce used is 134.1GB
......everything has a green tick next in my folders

I think its safe to assume its all uploaded.

The Dropbox folder on your local drive contains a hidden folder that is used for syncing and for the temporary storage of deleted files. Because of this, your local Dropbox folder will almost always be larger than the space reported as used online.
