Dropbox installation failed with error 0x80096005
Hello,
I have just got a new laptop with McAfee LiveSafe security and I am having trouble installing Dropbox.
When I try to install it, I get this error message:
Dropbox Installer
Dropbox Update installation failed with error 0x80096005.
Please advise

Update: Resolved
I just now upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10. Now, with Windows 10, Dropbox is considered an "app" not a separate program. I just now learned that.- LusilDropbox StaffHi Silicon Valley Engineer, thanks for keeping us in the loop and glad to hear that you were able to resolve your concern in the end!

They couldn’t get it to load either
