The Dropbox icon is missing and reinstalling didn't help much.

I am a very casual DB user, so user error is likely here. That said...

 

I am having a number of issues with DB so I started with a fresh uninstall/reinstall of DB, as that seemed to be the common solution to the 'no DB icon' problem (I did not have an Icon on my Windows 11 desktop). The install went fine as best as I can tell and I had a DB icon for about 30 seconds. Now it is gone again (and it is not a hidden icon). What is my next step? Thanks.

    When did you first notice this behavior? Also, is the app installed on the device with admin privileges?

      I noticed it first yesterday, but it probably happened much earlier than that as I don't normally have a need for the icon. I was logged in as admin when I did the reinstall, but that is all that I know about the app status. Thanks for the help.
