IOS 14 has messed up file integration with Dropbox - Content Unavailable
Was working fine with the last ios update 13. Upgraded to ios 14 yesterday. The Dropbox shows up as an available option in Chrome to pull files from. However in the display it says "Content Unavai...

Thank you for your assistance.
Figured I would give you an update. Upgrading to ios 14.1 has fixed the issue.

I have items saved in my dropbox account for testing purposes.
I can use a program called PDFExpert or Adobe Acrobat to open the file for editing. They can both see the files/folders just fine in dropbox.
I edit the document in one of those PDF editors and save it back to dropbox.
Then I load Chrome to access our website and upload the document into our system. When I click on Select Files, it shows these locations where the files are set to be accessed by the system on the left. Dropbox and Google Drive are both options available. If I click on either one of them, I get "Content Unavailable - The folder contents could not be displayed because of an unknown error - Try again"
It says this when trying to access the folders/files through Chrome, and it also says it when just trying to access Files directly on the iPad through the Files app. So I do not think it is a Chrome issue.
Since Adobe and PDFExpert can both see the folders/files, I was thinking it might not be 100% an ios 14 issue either? Don't know if ios 14 has changed how the folder/file retrieval works? So, just checking where I can to get it resolved/get answers.
ios: 14.0.1
Dropbox: 208.2.12
Chrome: 86.0.4240.77

Thanks for those screenshots ProHome!
Out of curiosity, if you navigate to the Files app and download one of the files from Dropbox locally (by tapping on the file), are you then able to see it when choosing to upload the file to the website?
Otherwise, are you only able to choose files stored locally on your device, from the On My iPad section?

Nothing ever shows up. I'm not able to upload anything to it either in Files.
Now checking again, Files is not showing me anything from any of the folder areas currently??
I think ios 14.0.1 has issues.

Thanks for the update ProHome.
Can you try disabling Dropbox as a location within the Files app, rebooting your device, and then re-enabling it?
You can do this from the Files app by tapping the "..." option in the top right of the left panel, and then toggling off/on the option next to Dropbox.
- Pearly King5 years agoExplorer | Level 4I’m on iOS 14.2 and having the same issue. Disabling Dropbox from the iOS files app and restarting my device worked for me. Thank you!

Did not work.
I shut them off, rebooted ipad and reset them. Still same error.
I tried this on my home ipad ios 14.0.1 and the file location for dropbox worked. So wonder if it is JAMF being in charge of the updates on our work ipads keeping something from configuring correctly now? Just weird that it worked fine under the last 13 ios update?

Hmmm, it is strange indeed ProHome.
Since it's just on this device, and with both Dropbox and Google Drive, I would suggest reaching out to Apple Support to see if they can shed any light on this.
I did try and replicate this on my side, but didn't receive the same error.
Sorry that I can't be of much more help with this, but please let me know if you reach out to Apple and get some further info from their side.
Thanks!
