Watching a Dropbox video from Iphone to Chromecast

IS there a way for me to watch a dropbox video from iphone to Chromecast?

    From what I could find, the Dropbox app isn't one of the currently supported apps for Chromecast. You can check out some more info on the supported apps from here.

     

    Perhaps you can try opening the video from the Chrome browser on your phone and Cast the tab? The steps to do this are outlined here.

Me and my family want to move from Google Photo/Drive to Dropbox.
We have been waiting at least two years for this feature. We all use Chromecast from the Google Photo app a lot.

Does Dropbox have any roadmap for getting this supported ?

      Thank you, I have upvoted the idea as you have suggested.
      I'm not holding my breath here, but hope to one day finally get this feature.

      I'm a bit concerned if all new "standard" innovations take this long to get into Dropbox 🙂
