I can't log into an old Dropbox account - reset password doesn't appear.
I have a Dropbox account with my current email, but I used to have another dropbox account with a university Outlook email that I'm trying to access.
I still have access to this outlook uni email address (and even received an email from Dropbox about new terms of service in this inbox last year), however I haven't received a recovery email to this inbox. Dropbox is not blocked, I have put the Dropbox no reply email address into my permitted emails list and it is not going into junk or spam. This account also has mimecast set up, it shows me 'suspicious' emails and I can choose to permit them or block them and Dropbox has not appeared on this list either.
When I attempt to set up an account with this outlook uni email I'm told that this email address has already been taken, so I'm sure there's an old account associated.
If anyone could help me with what to try next, that would be much appreciated!

Usually accounts that aren't active for approximately a year or more, are automatically deleted from the system.
However, based on the message you got about an already existing account, I'd like to look a bit more into this, and see what we can find.
Do you think it'd be okay to contact you using your Community-linked email address, in order for us to investigate further?
