Why is it taking such an extreme amount of duration to start up when either booting up, or if I exit and reopen the desktop version 53.4.67. It's taking over 10 minutes easily.

I'm having the same problem.

Having the same issue. Client seems to work on my surface but hangs indefinitely as "Starting..." on my desktop workstation.

riwamoto Thanks for the report! We've seen an increase in startup time for a small number of Windows users with large Dropboxes, and we're investigating it.
riwamoto TrevorFox To help our investigation, do you think you can download v51.4.66 and see if the problem with Dropbox saying it's "Starting..." for a long time goes away?
Here's the download link: https://www.dropbox.com/downloading?build=51.4.66&plat=win&type=full
You don't need to uninstall Dropbox first, just install it from the link above and let it run.
Thanks so much!

Hi samertm,
I gave it a try and it appears version 51.4.66 does not suffer the protracted starting issue. Hope that helps your team resolve the issue for future versions.
