I just wanted to mention that your initial points are outlined in this Help Center article.
When it comes to the tests you ran, can you please provide some additional information?
Are you trying to delete and edit shared links that you, as an admin, created or links that were created by other team members? Or are the team members having issues with this when they're not admins?

Hi Walter ,
A user cannot modify or delete links they created on a team folder, they can only create a link and Dropbox gives it settings which are not aligned with tenancy settings.
As admins we find that we can delete links, but we (and the users) cannot modify links.
The only partial workaround that we have is our users must contact us (admins) to delete an existing link so a new one can be created or to get the link to "expire".
