Installationsprogramme starten nicht
Hallo,
da ich gezwungen werde den Dropbox-Client zu aktualisieren habe ich den aktuellen Installer (DropboxInstaller.exe) heruntergeladen. Dieser reagiert aber nicht, wenn ich ihn per Doppelklick star...

Ich hatte die letzte Woche mit dem Support Kontakt (nachdem ich zunächst mal auch nur so eine automatisch erstellte Mail erhalten hatte) und dieser hat dann mit mir sämtliche Fälle durchgespielt. Geholfen hat bei mir dann folgendes:
We have been working very hard investigating fixes for the issue about the Dropbox that you're experiencing with newer versions of the Dropbox desktop application.
After reviewing your case, and based on similar cases where we saw a lack of updated display drivers, we think that updating the DisplayLink drivers may fix the overall issue you're experiencing because when the update of the drivers succeeds, this becomes a fix for a general issue rather than anything we can do to the Dropbox desktop application itself. Other cases similar to yours have already been fixed with updated DisplayLink drivers.
Could you please install the latest version of the DisplayLink drivers from the following website:
http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/windows
Please make sure to chose the one for Windows 7.
Then go ahead, restart your computer and try installing the latest Forum version:
https://www.dropboxforum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205220003-Beta-Build-3-17-32
At this point you should me able to run it correctly or the behavior may have been improved. If this is not the case, please let me know.
Außerdem habe ich verneint, das Programm als Administrator auszuführen. Dann hat es plötzlich geklappt. Vielleicht hilft dies euch auch.
