Disable Dash for new tab in Chrome
I installed the Dash extension in Chrome (MacOS), but now a new tab displays the Dash homepage, rather than the old page I had selected. How can I disable the Dash homepage for New Tabs in Chrome?

You offer to help everyone with this issue, but I can not find a single answer to this question. I'm fine with you being all grateful for the input and feedback and stuff. You're welcome.
Now, I want to get rid of this pushy overbearing and rather sneaky thing, and to get my computer back...including the new tab settings. How do I do that? Please answer with actual instructions or, if you can't, tell me that.
Answering that quickly would be good.

So this tells me to.... to what? Reach out? I've done that and I understand you are grateful. You are welcome. Now, if it wouldn't be too much to ask, can you publish instructions for removal? If not that, some kind of clue where we might go to find those instructions? By instructions for removal, I mean a series of clearly defined steps that, when followed, result in Dash being gone.
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for my time.
I have stopped using Drop Box for the present.
In oh, a couple of weeks or so, if I don't get an actual answer to the question everyone in this thread is asking, I will uninstall Drop Box. There are other ways. Pity.

I Totally agree it is very annoying and even more annoying is that Dropbox haven't come up with a solution - Why do I pay them so much each year if they can't answer a simple question
Dash was a good idea but for now at least Dash - disabled

Hi James,
Dash looks like a promising product, let's face it, this kind of application for AI is only going to grow, so it's easy to see why it has your focus.
I think what I and the others on this thread are saying is - yes, Dash is awesome and it is something worth using, it's valuable, it's cool that you want to encourage efficiency etc.But what you're missing is that you can't know how Dash fits into users' lives, workflows, use cases and priorities and you might not want to impose your vision on them. None of those things are up to you to know, or make decisions on. Let users choose how they use it, this prescriptive strategy is probably not a good one, and... by the way... you're missing out on all the metadata about how people would actually use the tools in practice - if you gave them choices.
Efficiency is always going to be user and case-specific, leave that to us, we know what to do - Dropbox can focus on making the tool efficient to use instead of the take-over bid on what is probably the most important and frequently-used app on any device anywhere in the world. Not all browsing sessions are Dropbox ones.
Many thanks.
