Add E2E Encryption like boxcryptor to allow user to locally encrypt and share content.
Boxcryptor was the perfect solution and was (still is) very well integrated into drobox.
Please do not suspend this service, but reactivat it.

Dropbox' long awaited implementation of E2EE must be the disappointment of the decade. First, we had to wait several years and now it's not available for individual plans. Bummer.

High level overview:
You can now add end-to-end encryption to team folders. The functionality is available for our Advanced, Business Plus and Enterprise customers at no additional costs.
Thank you,

is this going to trickle down to personal plans or is it only business users?

Hello hfr ,
I appreciate your patience. I'm excited to share that we are right on schedule. Next week, we'll begin onboarding our first early access customers. Additionally, we're on track to release this feature to our business customers by April 2024.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Over the past month I've been testing Apple's iCloud Drive. It now offers two features Dropbox isn't offering:
1. end-to-end encryption2. 6TB and 12TB plans.
IMO iCloud Drive has come a long way. On my system it's faster than Dropbox and offers two features I would dearly like to see in Dropbox.
I've been a long time Dropbox user but the clock is ticking. Please offer E2EE and larger, competitive plans as soon as possible, also for the professional account.

Hi CentrixDE
we are in the process of finalizing an Early Access version, which is scheduled for release in Q4 of this year. This version will be made available to a select group of customers, allowing them to try it out and provide valuable feedback.
Additionally, we have set a target release date for the public version of our native end-to-end encryption for business customers. We anticipate that this version will be ready for launch in Q1 of 2024.
While we are confident in our roadmap, it's important to acknowledge that unforeseen roadblocks can occur. We are prepared to address any challenges that may arise to ensure a successful release.
