Compressing the size or adjusting the dimensions of a file automatically

I see many new features we can use or schedule, for automatic editing of picture, some of them advanced ... but the most important and basic one is missing: RESIZE.

We are affected by the crazy Apple's idea to make the picture bigger and bigger, every year bigger... I think it will be very appreciated from everyone to have this edit option in dropbox together with the others. I did something good, and advanced as I mentioned, but this one is missing. 🙋‍♂️

Do you mean resize as in height / width or size as in number of megabytes and so compress? :)

I would say both of them, with priority to heigth/width.

Have a look at the "Camera Uploads" in your dropbox folder. If you enabled the automatic upload from you smartphone you probably have a folder with milions of pictures with a crazy KB size, because today we cannot set a "normal" size in our smartphone camera. For 99% of picture in our smartphone we dont need to have +5MB each, 400KB is enough!

If I can set the automatic resizing (both KB and resolution) for specific folder, we can easily avoid the daily stress we have for saving space in our laptop o dropboc account.

You already created automatic editing of pictures, why not to add the resizing?
