I would suggest something that sounds very well: custom URL with the username.

There is some way the link is based on my username for example...
I wouldn't mind a custom domain option; if I could share files with people that use my own domain rather than "Dropbox" it looks a lot more professional. In theory I could do this already by creating urls and redirects that just link to a Dropbox share link with dl=1 at the end of the url, but that's not ideal and time consuming.
