I have created this thread to provide updates on Dark Mode for Dropbox on Web. We are closing off the longer thread for general Dark Mode requests so that we can provide our community with updates for specific products, and so that requests don't get lost.
At the time of posting, our team is looking into Dark Mode for Web, but cannot provide a time frame for implementation. You can vote on this post and comment here to show your support. I will update the status of this idea when we know more!

Interesting observation: dark mode is on sometimes and light mode on at other times. Why is this such a hard problem?
You might need to hire better engineers.

@Chris Meek STILL NOT SEEING DARK MODE! Been several months since you have been "rolling it out." So maybe I am not the computer scientist I thought I was, but how exactly is this rolled out account by account? This should be a simple setting in our account settings on this site that offers three simple choices: dark, light, follow system settings.
Still waiting Chris. if not for my wife's account, which I said was a free account, showing up in Dark, I would not believe this is happening at all. How about those of us who pay getting some priority? - MajorHavocCollaborator | Level 8
Some people are saying they are seeing it. I am just not one of them yet even though I am a paid account. And I do not understand why this has to be on an account by account basis? That makes little sense to me. Even more confusing is that I have the setting for early trial of new features ON, and yet my wife's account, which does not have that on has an early feature before me?
Seriously Dropbox, how does this make sense to you at all? Do you follow your own rules and settings?
However, my wife's account, which is a free one DOES show up in dark mode as shown here, so not bogus:

Sigh. Been on this request list for some time, but Im not being updated. Hey Chris Meeks , any chance you can push through my account to be updated please? I seldom use the website because I cannot tolerate bright backgrounds. Would appreciate it. Thank you.

MajorHavoc We're still delivering this across different accounts. We should have close to 95% coverage, with some exceptions for certain kinds of accounts, by the end of next week.
