Designate multiple "owners" or "admins" of a shared folder

We would like the ability to designate multiple users as "admins" of a shared folder so more than one person is able to unshare and delete the folder when necessary.  This could work by having multiple "owners" and/or having a Dropbox group designated as the owner.

Why we need this:

We use Dropbox for project work that is highly sensitive.  Only team members working on the project have access to the shared folder on a "need to know" basis.  We have multiple company "admins" who need admin control over these shared project resources so sensitive data can be handled in compliance with specific project needs.

This idea is going to need a bit more support.

We've updated the status to encourage more users to back you up!

We have a non-profit that uses Dropbox as a central file system for all of our volunteers to access.  We have a rolling team of board of directors that needs to grant/revoke access to volunteers.  Ideally being able to have those board of director members be multiple owners of the folders would help us manage this process.  As it is now, only one board of director member can admin permissions which puts too much burden on that one volunteer board member.  This change would be a huge help for us.

I also work for a nonprofit and right now the Dropbox folders for our board and committees are managed by our board secretary, a volunteer. It would be nice for our paid staff to also be able to manage our Dropbox folders to lighten the load on our volunteer board member if not as an owner, but maybe some permission level between editor and owner. Manager?

Surprised this idea hasn't gone anywhere over the last year. We are a charitable organisation and need to keep control of our documentation. For various reasons, a Dropbox 'Owner' could no longer be in a position to operate the folders as required. This could be due to their demise, stepping down from position, or mismanagement.

While someone else with Editing privileges could create a new folder and copy files over, this still leaves the previous folder alive, which others can still access. There needs to be at least 2 people with the 'key' to the folder that still allows control should one owner fall by the wayside.

What happens if the owner of a Family Dropbox quits - or even dies?
If there is more than one owner, then this would not be a problem...
