When you are on the web version, you can either restore deleted files or erase them permanently. But on android version, you can't do it for the Deleted Files or trashbin selection was missing on the menu. I think it should be added on Dropbox android to allow us to wether restore files or delete them permanently.

I recently deleted some MP4 files (proxies) that I made for a remote editor. Once he downloaded them, I deleted them. Turned out he couldn’t do the job, so I had to share the files with a new editor.
There’s no trash/recycling bin for me to view my deleted files in Dropbox on iOS, so I’d have to find it on the website or even re-render the entire set of clips to achieve this, which is a taxing resource.
Dropbox needs a trash bin on the iOS app. - WalterDropbox StaffStatus changed:Gathering SupporttoNot for right now

I totally agree with this option.
I can remember when dropbox was launched the trashcan was in the android app.
Im really disappointed this option isn't there anymore.
Everytime to acces a pc to manage trashcan.
