Maybe also make sure that all users have the delete confirmation dialog enabled on their device? In Windows this is simply a checkbox in the recycle bin properties. With a delete confirmation dialog it's pretty difficult to accidently delete something. Users that still manage to delete something by accident at that point, might need to have their editing rights disabled altogether for certain folders? so that they simply can
't delete files at all (but also not edit them). I realize this solution might not work in all scenarios but it can certainly help reducing the risk of issues.
