1894 TopicsI accidentally created a new Dropbox account with Google and I can't access my Plus plan.
I'm having trouble with my subscription being downgraded from DropboxPlus to DropboxBasis. Because the amount of data in DropboxPlus is more than allowed in DropboxBasis, my subscription is no longer accessible. I myself have not ordered for downgrading. The cause seems to have started because a new app – which I tested – wanted access to the "Plus" subscription. I probably accidentally pressed the Google button for the necessary login, which eventually created a new account (the email address of the original DropboxPlus account is not the email address at Google). Not much later I received an email reporting the downgrading. I admit that this led to a lot of stress in the expectation that there might be little left of the stocks. I then investigated whether I could fix this and do not rule out that this has led to wrong (payment) actions. I contacted Dropbox about this and got a ticket. I did have a reaction but I couldn't do much with it. It also became clear that my account type will not immediately lead to further substantive action. I just had to figure it out. In itself, figuring it out is okay, but if you don't master the English language and have to rely on machine translations, you won't get much further. I was able to disconnect the newly created account from Google and give my own passwords. So it could be removed. Still my original account remains inaccessible ....... And...... In the meantime, I see two mutations on my bank account today. A debit and a refund. Acredito que o Dropbox poderia dedicar mais atenção a essa questão, pois não me sinto seguro ao armazenar prints ou fotos da galeria do meu celular. I'm trying to upload 1.5tb of data to a link on someone else's account. They have expanded their data quota to allow for this much data, however the dropbox upload keeps failing at my end. the 1.5TB of data is a collection of raw video media (so it's several hundred thousand files within a series of folders) When I tried to upload this via Apple Safari, the upload repeatedly stopped. I was uploading by loading the URL for the upload link to my friend's dropbox account, and then either dragging & dropping the files onto the upload link or using the folder hierarchy to navigate through the folders to select the material from an external hard drive. I've tried swapping to using Google Chrome for the upload, and now the upload link is asking for my name & email address (as per image below). this link wasn't asking for this information on the Safari web page; why am I being asked to submit my name & email? I am trying to pay for a monthly subscription. I solved the first captcha (I saw the message that I had proved I was a human), and then was faced with more captchas, over and over and over! I know I have the answers correct, and even get a message saying something like "You can continue with what you were doing..." then another captcha comes up! What gives? Hi Im trying to add a new dropbox account to my local Macs dropbox app, but I keep getting an 'Unexpected error, please try again later' error I have a free personal account, and the account im trying to add is for my work and I believe im part of the team account there. Hello, I can't access an older account I made, only this one and another one that I made later. All I remember about it is that it had some art and animations on there that were created in Macromedia Flash, that the password that I last set it to doesn't work anymore (possibly because of a data breach?), I don't have access to the email associated with it [removed per Community Guidelines], and I can't login. I recently downgraded my team account to a free account. I chatted with customer service and they assured me all my files would remain. Now I've downgraded and most of my files are gone. I can't access customer support anymore as I only have a free account. Does anyone know how to contact them? I can't seem to figure out how to get ahold of ANYONE at Dropbox to help me fix my account. I am getting billed for the PREMIUM plan and not able to use any of it because I have 2 ACCOUNTS and therefore when try to I change my email, it isn't letting me. I USE the one tied to the email that isn't getting billed if that makes sense.
