Dropbox Transfer

All our contacts are receiving the below message from Dropbox. We had one of our user's email inbox hacked and contacts harvested. The hacker then created a Dropbox account in the name of [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines] with the email address [email address removed per the Community's Guidelines]. [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines] is one of our users and [email address removed per the Community's Guidelines] is close to her email address but not her email address. Is there a way to contact Dropbox fraud/security to stop these emails from being sent from Dropbox or on behalf of Dropbox as the attachment is fraudulent and possibly a virus? This is damaging our brand as well as the Dropbox brand as this is being sent to many unsuspecting recipients. Out of the blue, we got a popup notice "Dropbox Transfer". and "Your Transfer 555 MB out of 100 MB" Below that, it lists two messages: 1- This transfer is over the size limit. Send up to 100 GB with the Professional plan. 2- Can't add empty files. Under this heading, it lists two files under \Desktop\Security & Utilities\Lost & Found\OICE_.... I have no idea where this came from. We are not aware of how these "transfers" got initiated. I can still view the contents of my Dropbox via the File Manager, but the app will not open. I logged into my Dropbox account online. I don't see any large transfers, and we are well under the 2.25GB limit. What the heck??Solved1.7KViews0likes3CommentsHow to turn off email notifications on Transfer without having to customise settings EVERY time?
Love Dropbox Transfer but it wastes SO much of my day having to go into the 'New Transfer' email and customise settings to turn off notifciations every single time I send something! Surely there must be some way of turning off Transfer email notifications as a rule? Also I want to turn off that New Transfer email I get too - I mean I've literally just uploaded it, I don't need reminding three seconds later - I'm not a gold fish! 😉967Views0likes1CommentDropbox business for clients use without opening new account for each client
Hi: We have a dropbox business account. We would like to create folders for each of our clients and have them use their folders (not any body else's) securely for files exchange with us. We do not want each client to have to open a dropbox account for this purpose. How can we set it up?Dropbox transfer777Views0likes1CommentOld Drop Box account

Hello everyone, every time I use Dropbox Transfer, I receive an email reminding me that I have created a new Transfer. Well, I would like to disable this kind of notification because it's unnecessary and annoying. I tried to look into the settings, but I can't find any specific options. Can anyone help me? Thank you.677Views0likes3CommentsBranding (teams): Allowing both customization on a member level and a company logo
I'd love if member branding and team branding options could be enabled simultaneously, and not mutually exclusive as they are currently. My wife and I are a two person team on a Dropbox Advanced plan. We work for the same company (which we own) but prefer our own personal branding (our own picture etc. for Transfers and shared links). It all works fine when sharing links from within our designated member folders, however, when I share a link to a file that resides in our shared team space/directory (i.e. outside of our member folders) the branding on that link is always my wife's picture and background image. It would be amazing if files shared from member folders could have member branding AND files shared from our root team directory could have our company/team branding. Currently, Admin Console forces you to choose EITHER member branding or team branding. It would be so helpful to have team AND member branding enabled simultaneously, simply based on the file directory and/or logged in user who created the link or transfer. Thanks!581Views0likes2Comments
