I've had no problems in the past with my Dropbox App on my PC (basic account), and it was great because I got notifications when a client uploaded something. For some reason (and it was after I installed Carbonite) my app wasn't loading. Every time I tried to reload it, it asked me to sign in, and then it showed the error "Couldn't complete sign in. Please try again. " I have uninstalled Dropbox and reinstalled several times, and it gives me the same error. I'm able to use my phone app just fine, just not on the PC. I have paused Carbonite as well as Norton but that doesn't seem to help either. I don't have Bitdefender or anything else loaded. Can anyone help? I'm about to chuck the computer out the window and retire!Solved6.3KViews0likes33CommentsReceiving Too Many Mounts error even though I do not have more than 1500 folders.
My app uses the Dropbox API to create folders, upload files and share the folders and recently I started getting an error message about exceeding the tree size. After getting this I re-organized a bunch of folders so I no longer have more than 1500 folders within 1 parent folder. I am able to create and share more folders if done through the web interface, but it doesn't seem to work through the API even after moving folders around. I get the following response when calling the /sharing/share_folder endpoint. Is there something weird going on where Dropbox 'remembers' where a folder was when it was originally shared, and even though I've moved it, it still counts as a shared folder within it's prior parent folder? {"error_summary": "too_many_mounts/tree_size_exceeded/.", "error": {".tag": "too_many_mounts", "too_many_mounts": {".tag": "tree_size_exceeded", "limit": 1500, "current_count": 1500, "new_count": 1501}}, "user_message": {"locale": "en", "text": "Your Dropbox account has reached the limit for shared folders."}} <br />12Views0likes0CommentsError that I've run out of space when trying to open a folder shared with me
I have just tried to open a folder that has been shared with, and it automatically brings up the upgrade window, stating that I have run out of space. But according to the details in my account, I am only using 2.6M out of an available 2GB. The file is definitely no where near 2GB, but it won't let me get any further or view anything, beyond the upgrade account page.15Views0likes1CommentRequest Id: eb653fb08d0e425eb445cc599c6e9e7d

Dear Dropbox Support Team, I previously used Dropbox and had linked my account to my Apple ID. However, I deleted that account years ago. Since then, I’ve been unable to create a new account on iOS using “Sign in with Apple” or link my Apple ID to an account with the same email address. Every attempt results in an error message with ERROR 500, even when I try different email addresses or use Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature. It seems my Apple ID is now completely unable to use Dropbox, which is causing significant disruptions to my workflow. I would appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you for your support! Best regards, HuaDeity124Views0likes10CommentsAccess Blocked: Dropbox's request does not comply with Google policies.
