change user on desktop app (PC Win 10)
I have two accounts, and have recently transferred most of my files from one to another where I have more storage. Unfortunately, that is not the account that exists in my desktop app, and thus my files aren't syncing properly. As a precaution, I copied all my current files to a separate desktop folder, but I don't want to work on any of them until I get the sync linked to the correct account. So far, I have tried logging out of my old account and reinstalling the desktop app. The old account had a temporary larger storage space, but that has expired. How do I change the linked account on my desktop? Do I have to uninstall the app and delete my old account and then reinstall the app with the second account the only one active? Can't find my business files on desktop app
I have a personal Dropbox account as well as a business account. Through the web interface, I can access files from both accounts, but from the Desktop app in Windows File Explorer, I can only access my personal files. Lost Dropbox on Android phone
Hi I have Dropbox Business on my Desktop. Until this morning I also had it on Android phone. However the phone had not updated (sync) with Desktop and so I removed and re-installed Dropbox on phone. Problem is- it has installed the basic Dropbox, with no visible files, and I do not know how to link it back to the Desktop version. Hello I have two Dropbox accounts, business, and personal Dropbox Plus. My folders are all in the business account which I no longer use and I wanted to change the expired account to a Dropbox Plus plan, however, I accidentally logged in and signed up for the Dropbox Plus on my Google address. Now my folders are in the wrong account and I have already paid for the year. Two Accounts - App Support Needed
I have had a dropbox account for 10 years. I have the app on my PC so that when I open up a document and click "save as", my dropbox comes up as a "my computer" results and I save right to it, like a c drive. I now have a new dropbox account for a separate business. It was set up using the dropbox website, but I cannot get it on the app like my other account. I am not interested in saving to my hard drive and then having to upload the document to the website under this new account, so that my team can access it - that is double work. I want this new account to also be a shortcut via the dropbox app on my PC, so that when I, for example, create a word doc and click "save as" I have the options of both dropbox accounts to choose from. These are two separate businesses with different shared parties so I do not want them to be merged in a way that folks that are sharing from one organization, can see the files from the other organization. This is a complicated problem to me - why can't I phone someone or even live chat? The bot is useless. I need a real person's help because I am not great with tech.
