Updating the file search feature to include reverse image searching would be a game changer. My job uses dropbox as our primary file server and finding files via name can be very tedious and difficult across teams. Being able to search files via image screenshots, or JPEGs/PNGs would be an incredible addition to the already great search function.423Views0likes2CommentsBest Practices for Organizing and Sharing Medical Device Guides in Dropbox
Hi everyone, I often work with important medical documents, including user manuals and instructional guides like how to use OneTouch Ultra 2. I’m looking for advice on the best ways to organize, store, and securely share these types of files using Dropbox. What are some recommended folder structures or sharing settings to ensure easy access for patients or healthcare teams, while keeping sensitive information protected? Also, are there any useful Dropbox features or integrations that could help streamline collaboration on these documents? Thanks in advance for your tips!40Views0likes1Comment"Move (file)" should start in the current folder, not at root level in the mobile app on Android
I'm not sure if this is just the case with Android. But unfortunately, it has always been that way since I can remember. For moving 1 file "quickly" to a freshly created sub folder, a user needs to navigate the whole folder structure to get there...11Views0likes0CommentsEnable the option to view and sort folders by modification date
Our team often relies on sorting folders by modification date in descending order to stay organized and focus on active work. Currently, Dropbox doesn’t show modification dates for folders, making it hard to track recent updates at a glance. Adding this feature would greatly improve usability and help users stay on top of their work.20Views0likes1CommentUse image EXIF for Dropbox tags and/or captions
Hello, is it possible for Dropbox to read EXIF in images? It would be great for images that require a caption along with tags. Also, it would be very very appreciated if third parties for Wordpress would be able to show these captions and tags with a simple code.47Views2likes2CommentsOption to add team members to groups from the "Members" tab in Admin Console
When adding a Member to Groups in Dropbox Teams, it's necessary to go into each Group and add the Member. It is possible to remove a Member from multiple groups by clicking the X next to each Group from their Member page. It would be nice to be able to add a user to multiple groups from this location. Use case: We have multiple Groups for different teams and roles. Thank-you!20Views0likes1CommentCan I move another person's shared folder into a subfolder within my account?

SHORT - We need a to have a template for a shared folder same as we have possibility to create an email template when we want to send same information to many different people. PROBLEM - Every time I create a new shared folder manually with same structure and I cant fill it with empty subfolders automatically, because there's no such automation, so I spend a lot of meaningless time for this creating same 10 empty subfolders foe each new shared folder every time. HOW IT WORKS NOW, EXAMPLE - f/e I need to create 5 new DBX folders for our clients, who will later fill these folders with their documents. For that I create 1 new shared folder(1 action), give it a name(2nd action), add people(3rd action), create 5 subfolders with their original names (5 more actions).. I spend 10 minutes for this and perform 8 actions at least. Then I need to create SAME FOLDER FOR DIFFERENT CLIENT, so I do it again - 10 mins and 8 actions. If I make it for 5-6 clients , I spend an hour. I could copy first folder and rename it, but its not convenient at all as it will immediately land & drown in the list of other 1000 folders in our storage, so I will have to first find it to start working with it. HOW IT COULD WORK - it could be a "automation" called "set up a rule for new folder" - not WNEN it will be filled with files (focus on the files) but ONCE ITS CREATED (focus on a folder). So for example the rule can be - once new folder created - it will have the following newly created empty sub-folders with specific names. OR this could be realized as an option to create a TEMPLATE of the folder - I will set it up one time and then just use it every time I need to create a new folder of this kind. And then would be nice to be able to create more than 1 template for a shared folder. Manageable options in a template-folder could be: name, subfolders (with specific names)/ or pre-uploaded files, maybe even the addresses the folder has to be shared with. That's it, thank you.158Views0likes2Comments
