Can I change the order of the photos I've saved in a folder?
Hello all. Will try to keep this brief. *I have a 2024 Dropbox folder for photos. *I am taking photos on a camera (because I want to) then once a week, copy the photos into the dropbox folder. *I have the sort set up to 'date order'. *Quite often I want to change the order of the photos within the Dropbox folder and/or add a photo into the folder that someone has sent me on whatsapp, or that I have taken on my phone. *These phone photos just land in a heap at the end of my Dropbox folder and don't automatically go in to date order. *Also, Dropbox doesn't allow me to simply drag some photos into a different place. (I have tried changing dates on photos, but it just gets ignored). I'm sure there is a very simple solution to the above, which I look forward to as I'm not that computer literate. Hope the above makes sense; when I put this query into Google, it seems to just ignore my actual question.
Using AI to sort and search my photos
Hi, it's 2024 . IA is here. Please, scan all my photo and suggest something to sort them or help me find what I need. I have a Folder "Camera Uploads"with more than 30 000 photos from my phone. It is impossible to sort them or search them or even to navigate in the folder. Ex : I want to find the photo in a night market in china . It takes seconds within the Iphone. It is impossible on dropbox except if the photo is named "night market china" (spoiler : it isn't) . So Dropbox is good to save the pictures but barely usable to use/search for them . Please do something
I can't sort the Dropbox files on my Sonoma 14.4 by name, nor drag them into subfolders.
Hi Jay, maybe you can help me with a couple of issues.I just bought a new Macbook running sonoma 14.4. My dropbox on the desktop won't sort by name. It will sort by anything else.when I use LIST it sorts fine, but as columns it will not. i also cannot seem to drag files into a sub folder. It will go as far as a root folder but no further... maddening!!The ascending/descending sorting applies for all subfolders and not just a single folder
Hi! Dropbox used to have ordering per folder. So its ascending or decending per folder which was perfect. Now itsascending or decending on all folders. Working with numbers and catalogue where I need to have names first sometimes and other times need highest numbers this works very counter productive. So is there a way to fix this? swapping all day between ordering is very annoying.
