Different number of files in Dropbox folder on two computers
Hello everbody ! 😀 Thanx for the attention: I cannot snychronzise Dropbox on two PCs : On my PC-1: I have a collection of 29.700 Files. This is my main Data Base. I deleted 400 Files. So PC-1 has got 29.300 Files On my PC-2: Still has the 29.700 Files. Dropbox did not delet the 400 Files on PC-2. PC-2 still shows 29.700. It should be 29.300 Files. What am i doing wrong ? Hi all, I have devices linked to my own dropbox account -- one is my work desktop and the other is my laptop. I had no problem reading all the files on both computers until this year. Now, suddenly, whatever I do on one computer doesnt sync to the other, and vice versa.
I can't open my Microsoft files when they're set to online-only.
Hi All, I can't seem to open documents when they are saved on Dropbox. My files are set to online only. However, photos and other media does not have an issue. But office and pdf often encounter an issue where they don't open or the dialogue box just keeps loading. When I move files outside dropbox, they open just fine. Thank you for your help.How can I find which folders have been unchecked via selective sync on my Mac desktop app?
I want to make sure that I'm syncing my entire Dropbox to my Mac. Apparently I've unchecked folders in Selective Sync - but when I try to find out which one, they all appear to be checked. I've just spent an hour going through my entire folder structure and all the boxes are checked. Is this a bug? -- I can't seem to add a screenshot or link for some reason. A new update of Dropbox was pushed to me today. It added a new set of options related to screenshots. Show quick action after screenshot... I dislike this, I preferred just getting the notification, but at least I can turn this off. When Screenshot is ready... "Copy link to clipboard" or "Copy Picture to clipboard" I typically take a screenshot by pressing print screen, then pasting the screenshot in Discord or my art software, I REQUIRE this functionality to maintain my productivity. but I also like to have the image saved to dropbox as a backup. With "Copy Link to Clipboard", well, it's a link, Art software isn't going to know what to do with that, and discord doesn't inline images from Dropbox very well, so I'd still rather have an image in the clipboard. The 2nd option, "Copy Picture to Clipboard", well, when I try and paste, nothing happens. I want a 3rd option... "Leave Clipboard alone", just, whatever print screen normally does, just let it happen. Just Save the image to my Screenshots folder in Dropbox, and leave it at that, like it used to be. Is that too much to ask? Note: I do pay for Dropbox.
