Hi, I have always been able to upload my photos from my iPhone to the Dropbox app. Over the past several months it has been working. I am getting an error message - There was an issue communication with your photo library. I have already deleted the app and reinstalled it twice. I have restarted my phone and turned my wifi on and off. Any other things I should try? Thank you!28Views0likes2CommentsCan we upload live photos through Camera Uploads?
I can see lots of posts asking for support for Live Photos. I feel quite cheated that I have lost the ability to see these photos. As someone else has also posted, I have little snippets of my motherâs voice and movement that I have lost forever and she has passed away. Dropbox offer a photo sync service which means they need to solve for Live Photos, they have been around since 2015 so itâs not a new function. Please prioritise a solution to upload and then restore Live Photos.Solved861Views2likes6CommentsDropbox iOS problem: Unable to share more than 3 files at once.
After my Dropbox app was automatically updated recently (version 414.3), I can no longer send more than four files at once through another app. When I select four or fewer files, it works fine, but selecting more than four prevents me from tapping the send button. My friends who also use iPhones are experiencing the same issue, but Android devices donât seem to have this problem. (I'm using an iPhone 16 Pro.) I have been using Dropbox for a long time. It worked I never had to change anything from my initial setup. On going from Windows 10 to 11 my camera uploads changed from .jpg to .heic. Most of my use for Dropbox is uploading photos from my iPhone. I have searched through the setting menus on the Desktop App, the taskbar as Dropbox is always open and the web. I can't find the thing. Where is this camera setting?72Views0likes11CommentsNo pop-up notification that I've added duplicates of a photo to Dropbox on iOS
Same here. On my iphone when I select several pictures and choose save to Dropbox, it would tell me if there was a duplicate. In the last day or so, it stopped giving me that warning and instead places multiple copies of the file with a (x) suffix on the filename.49Views0likes4CommentsAdding photos from my iPhone. Backup vs uploading
I am trying to add all my photos from my iPhone 16 to Dropbox in order to delete them off of my phone. if I only use the backup feature can I do the above? Or do I have to upload each photo where I have to click each photo and it only allows 400 at a time? can you explain the difference like Iâm 2 please. Because in my mind the way i understand is youâre suppose to use the backup feature for new photos so it saves going forward but if I put for all photos (since Iâm new here) it should save them all. And the upload is like a second option66Views0likes2CommentsLive Photos are still not being uploaded on iOS
According to this other thread, the feature has been delivered but the iOS app still doesn't support Live Photos from camera uploads. Photos are still uploaded as static images. What am I missing? https://www.dropboxforum.com/idea/101002013/automatic-upload-of-live-photos/569242?topicRepliesSort=postTimeDesc64Views0likes5CommentsMy GarageBand project files keep getting deleted/renamed when adding them to Dropbox.
Dropbox stores the garageband projects as packages (.pkgf) instead of .band files, which so far doesn't seem to cause any problems. Is garageband just renaming them to a generic format or is it actually something different? I'm having an issue with anything new I create in garageband on my phone and later copy into dropbox, the file either disappears completely or renames itself (greyed out) until I open dropbox and rename the file. I would like to get the files off my phone, I used to use iCloud for storage but it stopped synchronizing correctly with windows 10 for me last year. I run a daily backup from my computer to an external hard drive so I have multiple backups, but I currently don't trust iCloud or dropbox for my garageband projects. Curious if anyone could provide any feedback on their experience using dropbox to store garageband projects. Ever had an issue trying to reopen a .pkgf file into garageband?98Views0likes8Comments
