Is it possible to prevent long filenames being shortened from the end? My filenames need to have the whole name displayed, rather than having the end characters chopped off. These "end" characters identify the various versions of the same file. Many thanks, JohnF2.7KViews20likes9CommentsFile requests on Dropbox mobile app for iPadOS
Hi there, We would imagine this has been requested before, but hopefully it can’t hurt to ask again. Many in our team use iPadOS for work, and the ability to send a File Request through the iPadOS would be much appreciated. Much thanks!147Views0likes2Comments- 40KViews142likes77Comments
Back button to be added when viewing pdfs.
Can a "back" button be adder to the PDF viewer on iPad? We use Dropbox to host reference manuals, some are more than 1000 pages. It would be great if after clicking a link to a part of the document there was a back button which returned you to the previous page.2.6KViews6likes11CommentsiOS app: Delete photos option after uploaded
It would be great if we had the option to remove photos from our iPhone once it has successfully uploaded via the upload to folder feature. I don’t use that automatic photos uploading so it is quite frustrating to have to upload then find the same photos to delete in the iOS photo app.330Views0likes3CommentsMobile app (iOS): Having the option to open unsupported file types as .txt
As there are more file extensions than Dropbox recognizes, I have previously suggested that Dropbox examines the file content for ascii. As no action has been taken on Dropbox side to resolve, I now suggest a simple pop-up window that allows the user to select preview type. As a user/programmer ( in many languages) , I know what my files are, as I have put them in my Dropbox. I am best suited to know how to preview. This would allow me to review/edit files on mobile devices without temporarily renaming to a .txt file extension.704Views0likes4Comments
