Hello, is there a way to play music files / a whole album from Dropbox (via cell phone and WLAN)? I can only play one file at a time, but not an entire album. There is the Musicbox app, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Only a few pieces of music from an album or folder are synchronized to the cell phone. Thank you!0Views0likes0CommentsFile request uploads show that it was modified by me instead of the sender
When a user uploads files via a file request link, the files show as being last modified by me, not the uploader. I tried with the uploader both signed in and signed out, no difference. I really need to see the uploader in the last modified field.Solved30Views0likes7CommentsKeep original file names in camera uploads feature on mobiles
The idea is not to rely in manually uploading all the time. I want to keep my pictures backed up in case of phone loss or damage, but the names are important as I keep the media backups in multiple places and if the names don't coincide, reconciliation is a hassle. I often end up having to double upload and compare pictures manually so I can see if any of them are missing, and delete the ones with names altered by the Dropbox app. This feels like unnecessary work altogether.21Views0likes1CommentFiles not automatically downloading when opened in image browser
I am not a fan of cloud storage. That said, I have Dropbox installed on all my computers with different sync settings based on hard drive space, etc. However, in this case I have a 4TB hard drive so space is not an issue. My sync settings are to treat files as Available Offline. Save hard drive space automatically is toggled off. I have a few folders with images for my online store in them. When opening the folder in my image browser (Faststone) I'm having to wait for Dropbox to download images before they can be viewed. I'm not sure where to look to fix this, but I want my files downloaded to the appropriate computers, based on sync settings when they are uploaded. My workflow is as follows: Take raw photos with my phone or camera. Upload them to a specific folder on Dropbox. Open that folder on my computer to view and edit images. Save/convert those images to a new folder on Dropbox. Any guidance is appreciated.24Views0likes1CommentAI driven organization of documents
As a Dropbox consumer user, I want to have my scanned documents automatically organized based on content. Use case: I have a ton of paper mail, as well as downloaded statements from credit cards. I want to scan all my paper mail using my Epson document scanner which drops the PDFs into a preselected folder in my Dropbox account. I want an AI to look at the documents (bills, statements, etc) and organize them into a folder structure that makes it easy to find them. The folder structure creation could be through a guided journey or a recommendation after uploading some minimum number of documents. Then, all subsequent mail I receive will automatically be placed into the correct folder upon scanning. Success criteria: uploaded documents are sorted into the correct folders Considerations: since there are sensitive documents being uploaded, the context for the AI agent must be kept to my account, or the data used to teach a common model must be depersonalized before use. GTM opportunity: partner with ADF scanner manufacturers currently supporting Dropbox. This service will easily support a Premium add on ~$15 a month.33Views2likes1CommentUpload speed slow in the Dropbox desktop app, and after uninstallation
