Scheduled camera uploads
I would like to schedule my Camera Uploads so that I have a chance to remove/organize things before they're uploaded. Ideally I could have options to set either the time or frequency - i.e. 2am every day, or "any item older than 6 hours." Two examples (on android) today: Sometimes I take 2 or 3 photos in order to choose the best one and delete the others. But even if I delete them quickly, dropbox is too efficient(!) and they've already upload there, where i have to clean them up again. If I take a screenshot and then edit it to add, say pen coverage, it uploads to dropbox as 2 files, even if I save over the original locally. Often I'm annotating an image to text to someone, but don't need it backed up in dropbox at all, so I'd delete it before uoload.
Missing name and email address columns from CSV file when bulk sending.
Hi, I'm trying to do a bulk send, but when I upload the CSV file it says: Missing required column: Employee name Missing required column: Employee email_address But I already have that 2 columns on my file. What's the correct way to input the data inside the CSV file?I added files from my external hard drive to my computer, but now they're gone.
I transferred pictures from an external hard drive to my computer and when I removed the drive, half of my files were gone. They are not in recently deleted, I tried previous versions. They are nowhere to be seen. I want the file to be restored to 12/30/24. Can someone please help? Chatbot is not available.Can we upload live photos through Camera Uploads?
I can see lots of posts asking for support for Live Photos. I feel quite cheated that I have lost the ability to see these photos. As someone else has also posted, I have little snippets of my mother’s voice and movement that I have lost forever and she has passed away. Dropbox offer a photo sync service which means they need to solve for Live Photos, they have been around since 2015 so it’s not a new function. Please prioritise a solution to upload and then restore Live Photos.
Stuck in queue when uploading from the web
I was creating folders and uploading files all morning and then, suddenly...all of the new images I went to upload are stuck in queue. I realized some of us DropBox users have had the same problem (as I found online) and so I immediately thought if I deleted some folders and files on my account as I only have 2GB of storage, that it would solve the problem. Now I thought I would have ample room to try and upload files, but I was wrong. So after that I - 1. Deleted caches 2. Browsing history 3. Went from private browser to public browser 4. Tried to only upload one file 5. Refreshed my WIFI connection on my computer 6. Plugged in my computer Still nothing. I tried to upload one file that I tried earlier, but it's is still in queue. I use a Mac to do all of this. Please help!
Does Dropbox file transfer work faster than direct upload?
1/ Does Dropbox file transfer work faster than uploading the files to the cloud (via desktop or directly on web browser)? 2/ Or is the only reason you'd use Dropbox transfer is so you don't have to use any of your online storage account limit? 3/ Does the file transfer with the same exact internet transfer at the same speed wether or you use "dropbox transfer" or "uploading to dropbox"?Dropbox Lite - "Can't upload. Running into the error listed in the topic title. This is a fresh Dropbox Lite install. I've approved the login via email. The app was able to create a folder, but it refuses to upload any files. My storage is not full. I've tried multiple connectivity types (Wifi and cellular). I've restarted the app. No unusual characters are used in the filename. I've tested with a brand new .txt file as well on a different drive; same issue. Doesn't appear to be any status disruptions. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
DropboxAPI uploading small files
Hi! I ask for help in solving my problem. I have a Python script that runs on about 500 PCs. After running, each script writes a text file with a size of 60 bytes (approximately) and uploads it to my Dropbox folder. And I ran into such a problem that the created files can be uploaded to Dropbox indefinitely. Sometimes the file can load after 10 minutes, and sometimes after 2 hours or more. I can't figure out what this is related to, please help me figure it out. How can I share a link with multiple people only to upload documents. Not view anything that has been uploaded? Example: I have a client intake form that gets sent to all clients. Can I add a link at the end of the form for each person to upload their documents and not see what others have uploaded?
