Dropbox Business API integration for a case management system
Hi I am wanting to use an alternative to sharepoint for a CMS where the team would like access to the documents outside the CMS.
Can the Dropbox API be pointed at a shared folder (that the CMS would use) that is shared between the team, and can the API easily be used to read and write files and create new directories etc for that shared folder?
Is the easy using a basic restful login using a bearer token or secret and key etc, or does it need a full OAuth 2 setup.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, a Dropbox API app with "full Dropbox" access can read/write in shared folders. I suggest checking out the following guides:
As for authorization, the user needs to manually authorize the app to access their account at least once. Please refer to the authorization documentation and OAuth Guide for information on that.
