Cannot let others download my folder: "The zip file is too large."
When I share the link to a folder to a colleague, he cannot download the folder because DropBox says "The zip file is too large."
I have read [here](https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-files-folders/How-to-download-large-files-and-folders-from-Dropbox/td-p/220123) and in order for it to be dowloadable a folder must be 1GB in size or 10,000 files.
Who cam up with the idea that having such a limit was appropriate?
And of course DropBox has no FTP/SSH/WebDAV access

That information is no longer correct. The size limit is now 20GB, though the number of files is still limited to 10,000.
