    If they shared a link to the folder, then you can access it without a Dropbox account and download and view files whenever needed. 

     

    However, there is a bandwidth limit depending on their account for shared links.

Ok, that’s good to know. And is there a way around it? To have, say, read-only access or something along those lines?

If they shared a link to the folder, then you can access it without a Dropbox account and download and view files whenever needed.
