Is it possible to share a video file and prevent downloads?
Hi there everyone, I need to share a video with a potential colleague but I need to disable to the download option and also limit the number of views

If you're on a Professional, Essential or Business team account, you can set some shared link permissions disable download. And while there's no option to limit the number of views, you can set an expiration date for the link.
Also, keep in mind that while they won't be able to download the actual file from Dropbox, ANYTHING on the Internet can be saved even if you don't want it saved. They could simply record their screen while playing the video and they would have their own (lower quality) copy of the file.

Hi there! When I worked on a marketing video, the final version was sent to me via Dropbox, and it worked really well for the process. It's such a convenient platform for sharing large files like that. Cheers!
