Hi Everybody,
Thank you so much for reporting that everything is back to normal. Our engineering team implemented a fix that should restore visibility of photos in the Photos tab. If you're still experiencing any issues, let us know and I'll make sure that information is passed along.
Thanks,
Ben

Hey chrisrazzell, let's jump right into this!
Which platform do you use, when trying to preview your content? Do you use our website, mobile or desktop app?
If you could send over a few screenshots of what you see on your end when visiting your Photos folder, that'd be great. Thanks!
Keep us posted.

Yep I checked that too but my Dropbox is far from full and there's plenty of space on both my Samsung 21+ and on my laptop. With all the people here reporting the same issue, it seems like the problem must be on their end. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU, Dropbox!

Just adding that i`m getting the same issue , on website and mobile app (2 seperate android devices ,tried clear cache, delete content, reinstall etc) - photos folder not working

I am getting this same error -- is this an issue on Dropbox's end? Very concerning, not sure why I am paying if you are losing my data

Same issue here. I thought it was because I was at 99.5% full, but I upgraded my plan and am still having this issue. (Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) No previous issues like this.

It’s the same on all platforms, photos have disappeared since Saturday….

I am using iOS 18 on iPhone and iPad, and also accessing via a Mac desktop. The Photos folder is empty, yesterday it had content. I can only access my photos by selecting the Camera Upload tab. I have attached screenshots from my iPhone and Mac

To summarise, any photos from my iPhone or iPad used to automatically update to Dropbox and appear in the Dropbox folders Camera Uploads AND in Photos. As of today they are only appearing in in Camera Uploads, and the Photos folder is empty

You are not alone, I am having the same problem, it started yesterday. Photos are clearly visible in Camera Uploads but the Photos tab itself is just blank. I am using the latest version of the Dropbox app on an iPhone and an iPad both running iOS 17.7 (so it’s not an iOS 18 problem). I tried going into Settings and tapping Reset photos tab, but now all I get is a ‘No photos uploaded yet’ message.

Yup, me too…. I contacted db and they passed it to tech support 20 hours ago…. Still does not work…
- JulsSeck2 months agoHelpful | Level 5I am having exactly the same issue - I spotted it just after midnight after I had finished uploading a bunch of photos. There is nothing appearing in the photos section on my iPhone, iPad or laptop. You get a rotating square going round and round. The desktop version says “connecting to server”, then “this may take a moment”, then “almost there”. But nothing!!!

I've also tried logging out and logging back in again as was suggested in the Help files. No dice. It's now been four days of this. Please don't make me switch to Google Drive. I really like how Dropbox works WHEN IT WORKS. I pay quite a bit of money for this service and I think it should work ALL THE TIME.

I am also having the same problem since the beginning of October, I have two androids, Samsung S21 Ultra and Samsung Note 8, both have the same problem, but on the Mac I see all the photos as I also do when I use the Mac. I have logged out and re-logged in on one, but still the same message. I am using only 10% of my purchased 2TB and have also cleared the cache on the App. What else can I do?

I have been having this issue for four days now on my laptop. First time after YEARS of using Dropbox successfully and recomminging it to many people. WHERE ARE MY PHOTOS? Why are they not being shown? I have checked my settings and everything is in order. Dropbox can no longer fetch my photos on my phone (which is not a new phone) or my laptop, using any number of browsers. WHAT IS GOING ON and HOW CAN I FIX IT?

Yes still no photos on all devices

I have exactly the same problem. Nothing in photos on all devices and in the web.
(The camera upload and the folders are normal.)

Megan, This is happening to many users, the problem is at Dropbox and not user end…
