After signing a PDF on mobile, the file is locked in Adobe Acrobat on my desktop

Hello together,
I have a problem since a few days: When I sign a PDF in my Dropbox on my IPhone I can't edit the signature later in my Acrobat Adobe on my desktop. It has a little lock icon now and I can't move it.

Normal textboxes can be moved in the "Edit mode" of Adobe Acrobat, but not the signature.

I am really desperate. Thank you very much for your help, guys!

Hi Sch1997, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Just for clarification, are you signing the document using the Dropbox Sign feature, are you you entering the details on a normal field in the PDF file?

This will help me to assist further!

      Thanks for your fast reply!

I am opening the PDF File -> Edit/Sign (Bearbeiten / Unterzeichnen)  -> Sign (Unterzeichnen) -> You (Ihnen) -> and then I can draw my sign.

I am not quite sure how the buttons are labelled in English, that's why I wrote how it shows at my IPhone in German as well.

Okay, so it sounds like you signed the document officially using the Dropbox Sign interface.

It isn't possible to edit a signed document as they are legally binding and tamper-proof.

You can, however, resend the signature request and then sign that new document.
