How do I just simply delete a shared file
Just want to delete a file (it was a video) shared with me. No "delete this file" anywhere to be seen. "Shared" is only ask the person that shared this you'd like to share with someone else, or download or save or keep or archive or. or .... just want to delete it. Simply. Not have to spent hours searching or posting or creating a thread. Just want to delete a file. Or read suggestions that aren't pertinent.

It depends on how it was shared with you.
If you were sent a view-only shared link, you can't delete it as the file only exists in the account of the person that sent it to you, so they would have to delete it.
If you were invited to join a shared folder and was to remove it from your account, refer to the steps in the following help article:
