Hi ambern1023, could you clarify if you did the move while in Explorer, or on the website? Could you explain exactly how you moved the files, was it by dragging and dropping, or using some other method?
Were any of these files in a shared folder, or were they all private folders?

Hi again, ambern1023!
Did you use these steps to move your files through our website?
Where did you see that they were deleted?
Were they not available at the new location after the move was complete?
Keep me posted.
- ambern10232 years agoExplorer | Level 3I had the web open and my desktop file explorer, and I was adding sub new folders and when I went to go double check them and move them again into the appropriate year a bunch of files are missing and I had a notification pop up about my activity and how I deleted over 1000 items so I scrolled through it and found the other folders, and they were grayed out in a couple of them wouldn’t let me restore them Some of them did restore and then under activity, it said that the file was deleted, and then another thing would come up, saying it was moved.
Does it say the document was deleted when you move it from one folder to a new folder?- Jay2 years agoDropbox Staff
