Can't copy view-only link when sharing folders in Desktop client
Hi!
When I want to create a view-only shared link for a folder (which I can't do as the default behaviour when I press "copy link"), there is no way to get the link in the Dropbox desktop client.
I can create it in the "Manage folder access" screen on the Desktop, but there is no "copy link" option (see below)
However when I visit the same screen on the Dropbox web client I can copy the link from there (see below)
Is there any way to do this from the desktop client? I don't want to have to visit the web app every time I want to make a view-only link for a folder.
Thanks! 🙂
Hey lolkay_, let's jump right into this!
You mentioned that you wanted to create a view-only shared link, while using the desktop app.
Have you tried these steps, in order to create the link through your app?
Let me know of the results!
