I'm using an imac running OS10.12.6 High Sierra and I'm cannot upgrade the OS. Dropbox app will no longer sync. How can I get my imac to sync?

Hey vjt418, thanks for joining the discussion here.
I just wanted to mention that since you cannot update your computer's operating system, all your files will still be available through other compatible computers with supported operating systems, through supported mobile devices, and on the Dropbox website.
However, since June 27th, 2023, devices running macOS 10.12 or older are no longer able to log in and access content through the Dropbox desktop app.
I hope this clears things up!

I have the same problem. I am running Mac OS Monterey 12.6.8. I deleted the old app and id an advanced reinstall and am still getting the "Couldn't start Dropbox" message. Can you help?
