Green checkmarks are missing from my files in the Dropbox folder on macOS 12.5.1
Even though my Dropbox folders and files are synchronizing properly, I no longer see the green checkmarks on my Mac with Monterey Version 12.5.1. I have shut down and restarted my Mac and uninstalled...

Hey Allan Pole, sorry if this wasn't clear, but there might be other 3rd party apps that could be interfering here, apart from Google Drive or One Drive that is. Do you have any of those?
Also, can you clarify if you upgraded your device's OS lately and if you ever had the syncing icons normally on this device?
Could you maybe try the following steps and let us know if they improved matters for you?
1. Click on the Apple logo located at the top-left of the screen.
2. Click on System Preferences.
3. Click on Extensions.
4. Click on Finder Extensions.
5. Only leave Dropbox Finder Integration ticked.
6.Once this is completed close the window.
7. Click one more time on the Apple logo at the top-left of the screen.8. Click on Force Quit.
9. Look for Finder on the list.
10. Click on Finder then Relaunch.

Hey Allan Pole, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
Are you only missing the green check mark icons from your files, or all sync icons?
Would you mind sending over a screenshot of how the files appear in your Dropbox folder, so we can check it out?
Cheers!

Hey Allan Pole, sorry to jump in, but could you clarify the desktop app's status as shown in your menu bar?
Is it up to date or still syncing?
If it's up to date, can you check if the information from this discussion helps in your case as well?

Hi Walter. My Dropbox folders and files are synchronizing properly. I checked out the discussion you suggested. I don't use Google Drive or OneDrive.

Allan, would you mind hovering over the small Dropbox icon in your menu bar with your mouse, to let us know the exact sync status and version of the app?
Thanks so much!
